What an exciting time to get involved with Planet Rock Youth Ministries! We’re growing together and God is birthing some new things for us to do and be apart of to minister to this generation. We have a new ministry launching called the “Net Team” which is our front end ministry that trains youth to be greeters and helps them to connect our new visitors to Planet Rock and they will also be helping with meeting students that come on Sunday mornings to the main building for service. Adult leader Ryan Lentz is giving oversight to this ministry and we’re excited about this new opportunity to make great impressions as soon as students walk through the doors and you can be apart! Another ministry that has just launched is our new Fine Arts Team (Drama, Dance, Skits, etc.) and Sis Sabrina Garza and adult leaders Andrew Wainscott, and Marie Burrows are giving oversight to this new ministry. They are currently taking applications and are starting practices to learn the first new “Human Video” which will be performed at Planet Rock in app. 4-6 weeks. Last but not least is our new Video Ministry called Planet Rock TV and we just shot our first segment called “Student Spotlight” which randomly highlights a student from Planet Rock Youth Ministry. Andrew Snow was the lucky winner and we showed up at his house on a Sat. morning and woke him up to the sound of an air horn all while video recording the morning. It was fun and just think you could be next! So again it’s a great time to get plugged into serving in Planet Rock Youth Ministry!! Don’t sit on the sidelines and wish you could do more…..you can! It’s been a long time coming but we’re really excited about the all new Planet Rock Website. It’s our vision and goal to create a culture of connection and fun through the site that will be a hotspot for students to check out on a frequent basis. There’s great momemtum that is forming at Planet Rock Youth Ministry and we want to take what God is doing and get it out to all our friends on the web that are apart of Planet Rock and we want our visitors and new friends to be able to get to know us better.
