Planet Rock is hosting a guys night Friday, March 5th from 7:00pm – 10:00pm. Come out and enjoy our game room with Xbox 360’s, Nintendo Wii, pool tables, ping pong, foosball, and air hockey. We’re also opening up the gym for basketball and FREE PIZZA for everyone!! Call up the guys and we’ll see you there! Acquire the Fire Encounter 2010: Come join thousands of young people that are coming together in Richmond, Virginia to Encounter God! ATF is 27 hours set apart to give teens a life-transforming experience with Christ! Featured artist/speakers at this year’s ATF are: Lecrae, Thousand Foot Krutch, Ron Luce and more. Cost for the Encounter is $115 per participant and covers most food, registration, housing, and transportation. We’re excited to be apart of what God is going to do at this year’s Encounter and want you to be apart! Students can sign up at Planet Rock on Sunday’s at 7pm during our weekly youth service. It’s been a long time coming but we’re really excited about the all new Planet Rock Website. It’s our vision and goal to create a culture of connection and fun through the site that will be a hotspot for students to check out on a frequent basis. There’s great momemtum that is forming at Planet Rock Youth Ministry and we want to take what God is doing and get it out to all our friends on the web that are apart of Planet Rock and we want our visitors and new friends to be able to get to know us better. The Holiday season is upon us and this is the most exciting season of the year for many….but for many different reasons. Our childrens society is full of this mystical world of elves that make toys and Santa with his reindeer and presents underneath a tree.. for some it’s a time to connect with family and share good times.. for some it’s an incredibly lonely time if they have lost a loved one or are disconnected from family.. but for us we celebrate something completely different. Our society has made “Christmas” into a fast paced, buy all you can, money making machine that ends the holidays with the famous question…”So what did you get for Christmas this year?” There’s nothing wrong with giving gifts to one another but I think this year when someone ask me that question (which might not happen because I’m not a teen anymore 
I’m going to respond with I got the best gift of all. The gift that Jesus left Heaven for me and you and lived on earth to serve as an example of a loving God and Savior. Because really that’s why we celebrate Christmas…it’s the birth of the Savior of the world. So I love Christmas and the Holiday season!! I don’t mind the fun traditions that we have adopted but never at the expense of the true meaning of Christmas. So Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us at Planet Rock Youth Ministry. God has great things in store for you!

Ministry Description
The weekly Planet Rock youth service is an exciting time filled with live band/worship music, interactive games, video clips, skits, dance, a relevant message for young people today, and an opportunity to respond for personal prayer and ministry.
Ministry Meetings
Our meetings are held every Sunday from 7:00-8:30pm in the Planet Rock building with our game room and cafe’ open from 7:00-7:30pm before each service. Our sunday school classes are from 9:00-9:45am each Sunday morning in C102 in the CCA (Coastal Christian Academy) building.
We also host an annual Youth Convention, School Evangelism Outreaches, Acquire the Fire Weekends, and Christian Concerts.
